Wanted to post a picture, turns out I have used up my allocated storage space on this account. Stumped.
I never even knew there was a limit. Apparently, I could use my flickr but I really don't want all those accounts to be connected.
Might have to bite the bullet and pay for the account. Or maybe it would help to downsize the pics, the default setting is a lot bigger than it used to be. Don't know. Anybody care to share how they do it and how they fare?

Murmuration from Sophie Windsor Clive on Vimeo.

I've been forcing this utterly beautiful video on everybody since I first saw it, so why would I spare you, f-list.
It's viral, as they say. Sure nuff, I got Schnupfen.

Also, the episode of QI that I just watched (starting at 29:20) made me ponder on the concept of viewing the past as in front of us because we can look at it, and the future as behind us because we can't see what's coming. Makes sense to me.

Subject:What a great idea
Time:11:50 am
My friend G has never learnt to cook anything but flan or pasta, and we all know she's no exception to the rule any longer. There's a canteen to have lunch at work and so much cheap and kind-of-ok food to pick up during the day, cooking is just not a necessity like it used to be. But a couple of months ago she was all starry-eyed when she told me about this fabulous new shop that a group of young people opened in her neighbourhood. It's called "Kochhaus" (cooking house or chef house), and they say they're a "walk-in cookbook", aimed primarily at people who don't usually cook or don't want any leftovers. They feature meal suggestions that come complete with recipe and detailed instructions and every little ingredient you need to prepare the meal, in the amount you'll need per person. That means you can buy a tablespoon of this or that herb, or one clove of garlic, and they have everything arranged on a table per meal, you don't have to search different shops for hours, they make sure no complicated kitchen contraptions are needed for the preparation, and they give the price for a portion right with the recipe. G has tried several recipes, they all worked, and she's really pleased with herself.

The shop doesn't need my plugging them, I'm sure the idea will spread like a wildfire and they'll be franchise millionaires in no time at all, but ... what a great idea, what a wonderful shop!

My friend Juliane had ended up with a spare ticket for Michael Clark's dance company last night, so I came. I'd fail at describing the show anyway, so I'm not trying, but it was utterly utterly brillant, and if you ever get a chance to see it, go.

Remember that robbery I told you about in Kadewe in January?

Today, they had to release the two suspects from prison even though they found their DNA on the site of the crime. Because... they're identical twins (with identical DNA) so they can't say which one of the two dunnit.

Just now, an old phone stowed away in my chest of drawers went off. Wake-up call for 4:30.
Oh-kay... The last time I used this mobile was in 2006.
